Jo Field

Jo has 40 years’ experience in the human services sector, with twenty of these years in senior and executive leadership and management roles across government and non-for-profit sectors.

Prior to relocating to Australia in August 2019, Jo held the position of Deputy Chief Executive of Service Development for the Department of Corrections in New Zealand for seven years. Prior to that Jo held the roles of General Manager Residential and High Needs Services and Regional Director Central in the NZ Child, Youth and Family Department working in child safety and youth justice.

A social worker by profession Jo has a Bachelor of Social Work (Hons) and a Master of Social Work (Distinction). Jo is passionate about client-centred practice and making the community more inclusive for all.
